Yeah that's embarrassing.

Being pissed off at the board is one thing but intimidating an 82 year old man is out of order.

Gold isn't the one to be having a go at, it's fucking Sullivan and big tits

Did he borrow his suit from Rupert the bear?

I would also be likely to voice my opinion if I had spent money on watching that today. Since when was age a reason not to take criticism? Grow a pair

Re: Gold getting it at Swansea
Sounds like a PR stunt to me.

True West Ham know Gold's got no real say/power on the board so I'd question the authenticity of those having a go; Sullivan's using him as a shield/pawn/bus fodder, that much is clear.

They're just trying to paint all West Ham fans as aggressive illiterate oiks at every opportunity in the lead-up to the march.

Boorish conduct, should be ashamed of themselves.

Fuckng hell Mike so now your suggesting the was all set up by the board as a PR stunt?

The board deserve a lot of flak but comments like that are laughable. Maybe they will go one step further and stage a fake kidnapping or death.

Shouting someone down is not just "criticism", is it though, grasshopper?

82 years are good excuse for not having a 30 or 40 year old's voice.

If he wants to use his age as a shield that he shouldn't get abuse, perhaps he should sell up. As chairmen of football clubs will know that abuse will come their way if the club is being poorly run.

Re: Gold getting it at Swansea
gph it was obviously criticism of the incompetent running of the club hence our league position - I am pretty sure he wouldn´t have got out of the car if he whispered his disgruntlement. I don´t think its acceptable for someone to use age as a means of not being able to to take criticism, especially if they truly feel the are being ripped off due to the actions of that particular individual.

Oxsnore is an ADHD cunt, obviously not taking his Ritalin, he's all over the board offering advice to anyone that will listen after telling everyone not to second guess the organisers of the march

absolute fucking set up. its like listening to extras off that fails soap Eldorado. the levels these cunts will stoop to will never fail to amaze me

Re: Gold getting it at Swansea
Let's suppose he's being genuine when he says that he's hurting like us.

Then talking calmly and letting him get a word in edgeways is using him as a conduit to get at the other board members.

If, as is VERY likely, he's not being genuine, what precisely has been lost by giving him the benefit of the doubt?

Sullivan's already tried to link protesting fans with anti-Semitism (supported with relish by the Independent) and if the rumours are true, use the benefit to a fund set up in support of a sick child as a bargaining chip to sabotage the march, so it would not surprise me at all if some "game-changing" event was announced between now and next Saturday.

They've repeatedly proved themselves as slippery and untrustworthy - attributes they've acquired entirely by their own activities.

this 82 year old doesn't have to decide whether its heat or eat tonight unlike so many others .sorry he gets fuck all sympathy from me .

Re: Gold getting it at Swansea
gph - can´t imagine giving the board any benefit of the doubt, I think its gone too far now and I think most fans will agree.

This bit of "criticism" is so unsavvy that it's tipped the previously skeptical Mike Oxsaw into being a conspiracy theorist...

Re: Gold getting it at Swansea
I suppose the incident at West Brom a while back with Some fans and Sullivan after a game was a PR stunt as well?

There is a lot of paranoia going round at the moment. Dislike is one thing and I fully back that people are frustrated with the club but when you have so much hatred in you that you can't give a rational or sensible thought particularly on someone verbally abusing and intimidating an 82 year old man over football then maybe you need help.
